About Nikita Goel :
Nikita Goel is a final year student of B.A. LL.B (Hons) at Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She is the Student Coordinator of Internship and Placement Cell, Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University and Convenor of the Student Reporter Committee, Section for Law Students, Indian National Bar Association.
She has participated in numerous National and International Moot Court Competitions like-17th Henry Dunant Moot Court, the National Trial Advocacy Competition, 2014 by Suranna & Suranna Law Firm, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala.; etc.
She has organized and Drafted the Moot Problem based on the Juvenile Law for the 1st National Moot Court Competition, 2016 organised by Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She is the winner of Moot Court Institute Level at AAvahan( Law Fest,2015) Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University. She has been awarded as Best Mooter by Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University in the year 2015. She has participated in annual speaking competition ‘Rostrum’ in Kurukshetra University and secured various positions and went on to judge the competition in the year 2016. She believes in hardworking and is interested in research and writing work. She has published numerous articles in national and international journals. She has presented research papers at various National Competitions and Conferences.
She has addressed in the ‘Swarn Jayanti Lecture Series’ in the Kurukshetra University. She has attended various seminars, workshops etc. which enabled her to enrich her legal knowledge. She is strongly motivated to spread legal awareness among the society and she actively take part in legal aid services conducted by her University. Her are of interest include International law, Environmental Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Governance and Human Rights. She is an avid observer, reader and listener.
